From working on boat engines and antique cars in his youth, to teaching and shaping young lives in his 20s, to improving patients’ teeth as a dentist in his 30s and beyond, Anodia Systems founder, Dr. Overmyer has always had a passion for building.
Throughout his dental career, Dr. Overmyer has always looked for a more efficient and safer way to improve equipment, process flow, patient operations, and the overall patient experience while making infection control the highest priority. With this enthusiasm, he has developed and launched numerous dental products and obtained six patents, all while running two successful dental practices and traveling and speaking across the country.
In the early ‘90s, Dr. Overmyer sold his dental practices and began to focus solely on manufacturing, distributing and marketing his professional dental products, led by his groundbreaking dental unit waterline cleaner—the product now known as Mint-A-Kleen. Today, Mint-A-Kleen continues to gain brand recognition and market share as a respected and trusted dental unit waterline cleaner.
In his spare time, Dr. Overmyer enjoys spending time at the lake, fixing old boats and cars, building furniture for his children and wife, serving in the community, and working on any other project that sparks his interest.
