MAK-1919 Drain Tube

A Drain Tube can also serve as the air purge function on the MAK-1806 during waterline cleaning. In order to empty the water bottle on the MAK-1806, the Drain Tube is connected to the saliva ejector. Insert the opposite end of the Drain Tube to the quick-disconnect outlet on the dental unit for optimal waterline cleaning. Now the waterline to the quick-disconnect outlet is ready for Air Purge and Mint-A-Kleen. Remove the Drain Tube after air purging is completed.

For water bottle systems without Air Purge function (MAK-1806), it allows draining of the water bottle prior to air purging.

• If you have a water quick-disconnect outlet on the dental unit, place Drain Tube in saliva ejector.
• Attach opposite end to water outlet.
• Turn saliva ejector ON.  Remove Drain Tube after air purging is completed.
• For water bottle systems with Air Purge (MAK-1800 and MAK-1900), the Drain Tube is used to open up the dead-end and inject the water quick-disconnect outlet with Mint-A-Kleen to remove microbial contamination.
